Want to know the BEST way for a Cyclone fan to spend a BEAUTIFUL Saturday? At a Hawkeye Basketball game, of course!!! Matt and I spent Valentine's Day in Iowa City, just the two of us. It was a great weekend away. We saw the Hawkeyes play the most BORING game we've ever been too. You'd think by looking at the final score that it was an exciting one, but don't be decieved. A TOTAL lack of offense made for an awful game to watch!!!Even though the game was boring, we got to spend the night in Iowa City and enjoyed our supper out at Texas Roadhouse (even if it wasn't until 10 o'clock)! Who knew they would be THAT busy on Valentine's? No big deal, we weren't in a hurry.
So after a great time away, we came home to our sick kiddos (thanks again Mom for keeping them) and enjoyed the rest of our Sunday bumming out at home. It was a GREAT weekend, just what we needed.
